What is mastering?

Mastering is the last creative step in music production and the first technical step in how your music will translate out in the real world regardless of the release format. It’s an opportunity for an unbiased audio professional to critically listen to the mix in a well tuned listening environment and make the necessary adjustments to improve, rebalance, correct flaws, edit, and restore your music to its fullest potential.
